Description: After discovering the beneficial properties of some of the natural springs of the area, an enterprising human has convinced a primitive tribe of ogresses to transform their rustic encampment into a medicinal spa of sorts.
Before Oo'glog can open for business, though, the area must be prepared, a pest problem needs to be sorted and the ogres really ought to be reminded that bashing people with big clubs isn't a traditional health treatment.
Items Needed: Woodcutting axe, Ogre bow, Ogre bellows, Ogre arrows (enough to kill 2 chompys), 10 Eucalyptus logs, 8 Achey logs, 4 Spears of any type (not Bone Spears or poisoned spears), Tinderbox, Bird snare, Box trap, Knife, and a Teasing stick.
Quest Points: 1
Reward: 15k Firemaking, Hunter, and Woodcutting XP.
Start Point: Oo'glog.
To Start: Speak to Chief Tess.
Go to Oo'glog, found far south past the Feldip Hills hunting area, and speak to Chief Tess towards the west (you can use the Fairy rings code AKS to get there quickly).
Tess will explain that a bossy woman has come to Oo'glog with a business venture, and will tell you to go talk to her in the bank.
Go to the bank and talk to Balnea. She will explain that the springs around have amazing properties and that she intends to set up the place as a "leisure centre/holiday resort". Agree to help and she will send you to talk to Chargurr to set up the "catering arrangement".
Talk to Chargurr and she will tell you to get 8 Achey logs and 10 Eucalyptus logs. You can cut them just outside the city to the west.
Return to Chargurr with the logs and you will build a fire. She will then ask you for some spears, and you will decide that 4 spears will be enough. There are multiple ways you can get spears. First way you can get them is by buying KP spears from Tamayu in Tai Bwo Wannai Village and clean them off by using a Cleaning cloth. Another way is by killing the Ogress outside of Oo'glog for Iron spears.
Bring them to her and you will add them as giant spits above the fire.
Talk to Chargurr again and she will ask you to go hunt two Chompy birds (See the Chompy Bird Hunting Guide).
Bring the two Chompy birds to Chargurr and add them to the spear spits. Talk to her again and light the fire with a tinderbox.
Speak to her once more and she will tell you to go back to the "Bossy Woman". Speak to Balnea and she will tell you to go see the hotel manager, Snurgh, who can be found east of the bank.
Snurgh will tell you that you need to get 8 Tropical Wagtail feathers to make pillows to replace the current Raw Meat pillows being used.
Get your Bird snare and hunt a Tropical Wagtail to the northwest, then bring the feathers to Snurgh. After giving her the feathers, return to Balnea.
Speak to Balnea and she will tell you to go to the Salon to the east and talk to Kringk. Kringk will ask you to get her 4 Wolf bones and 8 Spined Larupia furs.
Grab your Knife, Teasing stick and woodcutting axe and head north to hunt some Spined Larupias and wolves (Tatty larupia fur works fine). Once you have them, bring them back to Kringk, then go back to Balnea.
Balnea will tell you to speak with Seegud to the northeast. Seegud will tell you that to get rid of the bugs from each of the pools, you need to burn something different in the nearby fire pits. There are stones next to each fire pit that tell you what to burn.
Long Brown Rock = Eucalyptus log
Green gumdrop Rock = Fever grass
Red sphere Rock = Primweed
Yellow egg-shaped = Tansymum
Orange Squarish Rock = Stinkbloom
Purple tall = Lavender
The herbs can be found outside the ogre resort.
Go to the salt water spring just to the North West of Seegud. The stones beside the fire are long brown, red sphere and green gumdrop stones. Add an Eucalyptus log a fever grass and a primeweed to the fire pit. Light the fire. The bugs do not go away and the ogre children laugh at you. Return to Seegud to find that the rocks have been switched, and that you need to figure out what each rock means again. She says the ogre children are not bad and suggests you speak to them. Chat to one of the ogre children who are near the salt water spring. They suggest that you start at the Thermal pool (which is north of Seegud) as that has only one coloured stone beside it as well as the stone for the Eucalyptus log.
Using a process of elimination work out which herb is associated with the yellow-egg shaped stone at the thermal pool.
Then move to the mud bath (to the east) and work out by a process of elimination which herb is associated with the red sphere stone.
Move west to the Salt water spring and work out which of the last three herbs is associated with the green gum drop stones.
Then move further west to the Sulphur spring and work out which herb is associated with the tall purple stone.
Finally at the Bandos pool the orange squarish stone must be associated with your final herb.
After getting rid of the bugs from all the pools, return to Seegud. She will then have you return to Balnea.
Balnea will then send you back to Tess to learn how to catch the new hunter creatures.
To bait a Diseased Kebbit to a Deadfall Trap, burn some Fever Grass as bait.
To bait a Platypus into a box trap, burn some Lavender for bait.
To bait Wimpy Birds, burn Tansymum as bait.
You need to have your right hand free to burn any of these items, and be warned, some animals do not like the other plants burning and will attack you if you burn near them.
Once you have caught 4 platypuses, 5 wimpy birds, and 4 diseased kebbits, release the platypuses at the dock to the east of the resort. As each platypus is returned to the water they reward you with a casket. Then return to Balnea. Watch the cutscene then...
